The design center experience at Jamestown Estate Homes sets us apart from other builders. While offer everything you need to complete your home in one place, you are also not limited to choosing the items at the design center!
Jamestown’s design center experience can start before you contract on your new home. We offer potential clients a Design Center Preview, led by one of our designers or the DC manager. During this approximately 45 minute private tour, potential customers are often surprised to see what Jamestown offers as standard, as it is a much higher level than other builders’ offerings.
In the design center, we display many samples of flooring including wood, tile and carpet. We also show mosaic tile, fireplace surrounds, plumbing fixtures, hardware, cabinet and countertop options and more!
During decorating appointments, our clients can easily choose everything that goes into their new home in one location. Having said that, our clients are also welcome to visit our trusted vendors for items like specialty sinks, countertop slabs and much more.
Once you’re under contract, another surprise is the amount of time you will receive with your interior home designer. We give our clients 2 nearly full day design appointments. Before the first meeting, we require you to send your designer some inspiration photos as a guide. Oftentimes, the designer will have gone to one of our vendors to find something special based on your photos. At your first meeting, your designer will have already pulled a variety of selections to get started. Of course, you’re welcome to change anything, but this sets the pace for a smooth meeting and helps prevent “design overload” from too many choices!
