On October 6th, the Greater Houston Builders Association held the annual Houston’s Best PRISM Awards at the Hilton Americas. The acronym “PRISM” stands for Professional Results in Sales and Marketing, and for over 25 years the awards have been synonymous with the Houston homebuilding industry’s highest caliber of distinction in awards for excellence.
The PRISM Awards showcase the best home builders, developers and remodelers in the Houston area, and Jamestown Estate homes is proud to be the recipient of two such awards, as well as a finalist for several more.
Garden Home of the Year award:
“We were delighted to work with the Flores family, designing and then building their custom home in East Shore neighborhood of The Woodlands, said Greg Hawes, president of Jamestown Estate Homes. He continues, “This Garden District-inspired home is reminiscent of the mansions lining St. Charles Ave. Inside the home, the formal dining room is spectacular, with a soaring groin-vaulted ceiling and a bricked lined wine alcove entered through iron gates. The impressive kitchen and family room is an open space anchored by an oversized limestone and cedar fireplace on one end, and with a grand custom hood covering a commercial grade Thermador range and double oven on the other. The home’s courtyard is also fantastic, with a summer kitchen, pool and hot tub.”
Construction Superintendent of the Year, Michael Prejeant:
“It was no surprise that Mike was chosen as this year’s Superintendent of the Year, said Greg. “He is an LSU engineering school graduate with over 20 years experience. He is a master at building custom homes, and he leads the building process at Jamestown Estate Homes with great attention to detail.”
Jamestown Estate Homes was also a finalist for Custom Home Design from $400,000 to $800,000, Custom Home Bedroom for a home under $1 Million, and Website of the Year.
