This happy homeowner letter comes to us from clients in Hedwig Village within the Memorial Villages of Houston.
My wife and I began looking at newly constructed homes in July 2019, but didn’t find the size or layout we wanted. Jamestown was one of the builders whose homes we toured, and we were impressed with the quality.
While touring a Jamestown home, we met Victoria Hawes, one of the principals at Jamestown. From Victoria, we learned of the opportunity to acquire a large lot in the Memorial Villages area and build a custom home to suit our particular needs.
Long story short, Jamestown designed and built our new home in about nine months, from foundation to closing. Victoria was very helpful – knowledgeable, patient and very creative. Our construction manager, Mike Prejeant, was awesome, but sadly passed away unexpectedly about five months into construction. We loved Mike, but Spencer Sledge, project manager, stepped into the very challenging situation and brought the project home in the final three months. Spencer has been fantastic – very responsive and accommodating our very particular wants and needs, including follow-up after closing. We’re very happy with our new home.
