Our Houzz page features pictures from some of our completed projects, which can give you an idea of our range as a builder. We’ve built homes starting from 3,400 square feet and going up to 8,000 with a variety of design styles. From totally traditional to completely contemporary, we’ve built homes for buyers whose tastes vary a great deal. We’re always excited to work with our clients to see their dream homes take shape, and Houzz is an awesome tool for consumers to use to refine their vision for their homes.
As a builder I recommend that everyone who is considering building a home check out Houzz. Houzz is basically the Pinterest of home design. It has over two million pictures that were submitted by professionals in the home building/remodeling industry. You can browse the photos by room or style, or you can search for something specific that you’re looking for. If you see something you like, you can “add it to your ideabook,” and then it will be saved so you can come back to it and share your ideas and share them with your builder, designer, etc.
I warn you that you might end up spending hours upon hours perusing the site (because it really is that awesome!), but it can ultimately be a great tool in refining your style. Choosing the finishes within a home can be a bit overwhelming at first, but if you’ve done some homework, it doesn’t have to be difficult. For one inventory home that we now have under construction, I had the privilege of picking a lot of the selections, and it was a great experience because I had already put together an inspiration board pulled from my ideabooks on Houzz.
